9-16 August 1718 On Monday last a journey-man taylor was committed to Newgate for incest with his own sister Mary Js, who keeps the Ben Jonson’s Head Alehouse in Great Wildstreet near Lincolns Inn-Fields, they being detected in the very act by the husband, the woman is gone off.
